Yup you guessed it.
My eldest has a relatively new girlfriend and they really like each other and have worked together for quite some time.
They started dating this fall, and she was supposed to be unable to get pregnant again. She also has an 11 yo and is a bit older than my son.
I was shocked and overwhelmed with the news last week. I have since accepted it and know that they will be wonderful parents and this baby will be loved so very much.
The other kicker is my sweet niece who is like a sibling to my kids is also due at the same time. Within days of each other!!!
I still can't quite wrap my head around being called grandma but it's going to be a blast!!!

Congratulations!! This weekend, I found out that my niece is due in July. Similar to your situation, she's the same age group as my boys.

Thank you all for the congrats and warm wishes.
I was shocked. Beyond shocked. But now I'm reaching acceptance and honestly this girl is a wonderful woman. She is strong and brave and fierce. She is a mom to an 11 yo. Who she is rasining alone with help from family and now my son.
They are going to hold off on finding out the sex. I believe she wants a girl. My gut says boy but my gut was way off with my second kiddo so who knows.
They are happy. They are excited. They will struggle financially as my husband and I did even with waiting and planning. My son has some serious growing up to do too. But I do believe things will happen as they should.
I'm going to be a Grandma. Holy hell. I. Am. Going. To. Be. A. Grandma.
