Wow, Bleep, I heaved a sigh of relief when I got to your last update (I hadn't been following along, so I started at the top of the page). GREAT NEWS! I love the fact that you have a "clean" house to live in. And that you feel JOY on this promising first day of March 2023, after 5 years of that grief! (Living IHS for this many years, I almost have a tinge of envy, hehe.)

BLEEEEEEEP-Y!

This is brilliant.

You are mighty. You are a class-act. You are a resilient and beautiful person.

This is a hard-earned moment. Be gentle with yourself.

For me, I had a wave of emotions wash over me after my ugly and long battle. It was like I could let down my armor and didn't have to hold on so tight. Once that happened, blammo - here came the feelings. I remember it being like a pressure valve being released. Not so much about *him*, but making it to the other side....it's a lot.

So be kind to you and let things soften in this gorgeous moment in your new life where you are the decider. Good things are coming your way, I just know it.

Cheers, girlfriend.

Bleep!!! This is truly fantastic news!! You must feel completely buoyed with relief!!! I didn’t feel sad or bad or anything but happy when we signed. Just profound relief it was over and I was free. I’m so proud of you getting through this slog of a divorce and you can now shine your light as brightly as you want. Big fucking high five!!!

CONGRATULATIONS WTB!!!!!!!! I'm not a big poster but I am a big silent stalker. laugh Have been reading your posts for years and I think you're pretty awesome. Reading some of the crap you've had to go through...yikes. You've always been so strong and optimistic even when things were really hard. You deserve this SO much and I'm so happy to hear this amazing news!

This morning was our final hearing. I raised my right hand, and it is officially done.

Way too many of you wonderful people to thank individually, but know that it brought tears to my eyes seeing all of your names. Names I have gotten to know these past 7 years by following your own painful stories, and also aspiring to be on the other side where some of you already were/are.

"I’d like to take you out for a celebratory dinner. I’m hoping to get down to visit my brother sometime this month so I’ll be in the area. Are you game? "

Josiep, absolutely. I think I have your contact info. I will reach out.😁

One of my favorite movies is Shakespeare in Love. I picture the scene where Viola opens her bedroom door and says to her maid (who has just told her to wake up as it is a new day),

"It is a new world!"

I know you’re happy to put all this hell behind you, Bleep, but I hope you’ll stick around to give advice to newbies. You’re the SI equivalent of a veteran who survived WWI, WW2, and Korea!

BTB, I’ve been thinking about that, asking myself if it would be too painful? The answer is no. I feel so at peace. If I can guide others through the fire, or at the very least hold their hands while they stumble, I would like to do that.

I even have hope that I might one day have a countrydirt-type post (am I allowed to reference that?) in New Beginnings😊. Whether I do or don’t, life is very good on this side of D.
