To everyone here, I hope you all have a Happy Valentines Day.
Valentines Day is often a struggle for singles. It doesn't get easier when the commercialized day of "love" is in your face for a whole month. A reminder that you are by yourself, and the world seems to all be couples. That's the illusion you sell yourself, but the reality is that it's just another day.
Love yourself everyday, even if no one is looking, or there with you. Look in the mirror and see the amazing human being staring back at you.
You don't need chocolates, cards or gifts to believe you are worthy of it all. You are, so go out there, and give Valentines Day a run for it's money. Do something you enjoy, pamper yourself.
Miley Cyrus said it best:
I can buy myself flowers
Write my name in the sand
Talk to myself for hours
Say things you don't understand

And I can hold my own hand

You can be loved or simply love yourself enough that you’re not empty until someone comes along, whom you can share it with.

So many kinds of love to celebrate- romantic love is just one. I embrace the day for all the other relationships in my life, including the most enduring, the one with myself.
