Things are starting to look better with me.Started a new job today, semi truck shop fixing these.New boss liked that I have my cdl and medical card. This saves my butt when I get stopped during a test drive.I have been over my late husband's.Met my biological dad tonight for the first time, left mom when she was pregnant with me.Not mad at him knowing what he did was a regret.Plus he accepted me as his daughter.Knew he had a son and told him I had a tough time finding my trueself as a child.Told him I went through the transition starting at age 15 until I was 18 and had the bottom surgery at age 18.Looked at me and all he wants to see me happy in my life.Talking dating again in June, have a guy interested in me.He is giving me time, also knows I am a post op MTF transsexual and has no issues with this.I am happy that he is open minded loving and accepting me for who I am

I am glad you are on that pathway for your next chapter.

How exciting about your bio dad!!!

As for dating; make sure you give yourself plenty of healing time and grace. I found during those early times, I would feel ready....then not be ready....rinse-repeat.

That was one thing I did like about OLD, I could just pull my profile whenever I needed to regroup. laugh

Lost my husband in January.I am glad this guy took it well knowing I am trans.Dad,he is glad I did not get worse.I learned he had a brother whom was a ticking time bomb like me.Dad said his brother was 17 when he died, took his life.I plan on showing him the pictures of me when I went through my transition including the first 3 years I started living and dressing as a girl starting at age 12 after coming out.

Lost my husband in January.

I remembered that and thought I remembered reading that it was at that point that you discovered the cheating.

That is what I meant by giving yourself time to heal. Not only were you dealing with being widowed; but they you were blindsided by the infidelity. That is a LOT, my friend.

It sounds like you are surrounded by lots of support.
