I've posted plenty about being on a well and the nastiness of our water, the constant pipe breaks/leaks, having to replace the water heater (a few times), pressure tank, control box pump etc.

The pressure has never been good and I chalked that up to having crud blocking thr pipes. Late last winter our water line froze. We didn't know it had frozen from thr well to the house and feared the pump or control box had gone again.

The well company we deal with came and checked and just happened to see that our pressure switch was wrong. We had a 20/40 and the pump requires 30/50 or higher. So they brought me a new one. I told them it was all good I'd install it once the line thawed (had to stick heaters in the well and in the basement facing the pipe) but I never got around to it.

Well wh and I did it and OMG. I had forgotten what a "good" shower felt like. I could spend all day in there lol

Something so simple made such a huge difference. Excuse me while I go shower lol

Thanks.

The one thing I need to do is Doak the shower head in CLR to get rid of the buildup. That will make the shower even better.

Also when the line froze we stuck our hair dryer into the pipe in the basement essentially frying it. We have been without one since. But I just splurged and bought a new hair dryer. Omg. How amazing it is to blow dry my hair again. The girls love it too.

My hair isn't frizzy. It's soft and smooth.

I really need to install a softener/filter on thr main line because my white brita water jug was black inside when I changed the filter today, so gross!

And now with the extra pressure the small drip in the shower has become a fast drip so... time to replace all the taps and pipes behind thr wall. Fun fun.
