I have been really ill for the past 2 weeks, but decided Sunday to groom my standard poodle. I ended up needing a nap half way through. So my poodle boy was getting his summer clip. Picture a cream and peach, 60lb poodle with the front half shaved and his head or face not done. I woke up to find out my DD has driven to Target. First DD should not be alone as she faints from a disorder called POTS. As long as she stays sitting, she is okay to drive, just not get up from sitting or laying down. She also collapses from her legs having issues.

My hubs gets an alert her tire is way to low. We try and call her, phone dead. She ended up calling, sobbing badly and in a panic attack. She overextended herself physically and had to buy a new phone cord. Fiancé was at work, someone needed to stay home and bring my grocery delivery in. So I needed to go get her. I have struggled since the pandemic and losing my service girl who was fully trained. So I sucked it up and took my half shaved poodle to get my DD. The neighbor looked at me like I was nuts. But a Mama has to do whatever she needs to get to her child no matter the age.

I had jerked on a mismatched capris and top took my half shaved dog in my flip flops to get my kid. I looked like a nut job.

I just had to laugh at the whole thing. She then had a panic about leaving her car in Target lot till I could take her Dad or fiancé (he was working) back to get it. We have had a rash of cattilictic sp. converters stolen even in the grocery store lot. I had to assure her, that no one was going to steal it in broad daylight from the car left in the 3rd spot from the door.

So my crazy vampire dog, who will go in the sunlight if the barometer is okay for a car ride and I rescued my girl!

No, I am finishing him today. Her Fiancé called he works at Home Depot, in the rent a tool part. He called had an accident with motor oil. F let’s call him Tom, needed clean pants. Today’s adventure was me in a wrinkle dress, slip on sneaks, floppy hat and half shaved vampire dog, my silver female standard poodle and my mini schnauzer.

Tom had a ford we got a recall to get service because of possible motor oil fire. Tom was driving home from work and his engine caught on fire, totaled the car. Tom had a 5k deductible, no car was purchased. Tom had been driving her car and almost totaled it. DD’s car was on my insurance. Unknown to me, he had a suspended license due to unpaid tickets. It shot my insurance up 700 dollars a month. He cannot drive anyone’s car due to the insurance being at least 700 a month. We had to get DD her own insurance and off our policy.

In the meantime we drive him everywhere.

I will finish my male standard poodle today, do her tomorrow, my mini schnauzer one evening. I have a grooming table and to keep them in place. My mini hates being groomed. So I will need help.

You are very kind to do all that driving.

I just got one of those grooming tables for Christmas. They're great. I have a terrier mix that I clip. I've watched lots of YouTube videos but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet. He is more scruffy than curly like a poodle. His head is the hardest part to not butcher.

He isn’t finished poor guy. He still has 2 inch fur from mid back to tail. He only goes outside at night, maybe for a car ride if there’s no rain in the forecast and if I take him to the car on his car leash, won’t go to get in the car with anyone but me. My huds takes him with him to do dro offs and pick ups with my other SPOO and our mini schnauzer.
