My new IC recommended this book to me today. I have downloaded it to my Kindle.
I’ve been seeing her due to PTSD due to LTAPs cyber stalking and attempts to get back with WH (a Cease and Desist letter had to be sent recently).
Anyone read it? Thoughts?

Haven't read it but I go back and forth on what I think about this author. She's hardline against D in most cases. She's the one who came up with the concept of the 180. While I think a 180 is useful in the short term, her initial conception of it and how to execute it is pretty laughable and unrealistic.
"True character is revealed in the choices a human being makes under pressure. The greater the pressure, the deeper the revelation, the truer the choice to the character's essential nature."

Thanks Thumos. I will read it before my next apt. And take notes on things to discuss. I won't be shy about speaking up with what I agree with and what I don't and the in between stuff I question.
So far - I'm through the intro and first 2 chapters and she does describe it to a T. For BS and [based on thing WH has said] WS alike.
