4everdevastated, please open them up without any guilt! It brings me so much joy to open up mine and I wish that joy upon everyone on SI!

Same goes for you, Trust55, please enjoy the glitter without guilt.

DragnHeart, I hope today some of the cards will arrive for you!

I've had my second haul today. 8 new cards I seriously get a big smile on my face everytime I look in my mailbox and see a big stack of letters.

Thank you all so much! I need a bigger ornament to store all the glitter.

One more lone, stray card arrived today. Same postmark from Santa's Elves, but an additional sticker on the envelope dated 12/29...???

I received a wrapped up package of ten cards yesterday (Dec 31). Think my post office has wizened up to the glitter lol.

Haven't opened them yet, it was a crazy busy day for me. Ill do it today. What better way to start 2021

Got a blue envelope in the mailbox. Felt kinda “fat” so I shook it.

GLITTER came leaking out and fell to the ground.

It was raining so they fell in the water and floated down the street 😂

It was so pretty to see silver glitter running down the road.

Not sure if any neighbors saw it but I was 😁😁😁😁😁

I really was thinking my mail carrier was enjoying taunting me with the slow, single-card deliveries when one more lone card arrived today. I thought any glitter it may have contained could have leaked out of the large rip in the top of the envelope.

After opening it, it seems it didn't have any to begin with. But as I recycled the envelope, I noticed the USPS code on the envelope was one number off what my address actually is, so I guess maybe it took a detour instead of being my carrier's choice. Funny how only one had that.

Glad you received your pile of glitter love, Dragn. Enjoy.

I received another stack yesterday. This batch has a leak. The newspaper fliers and my mail mail box were covered in glitter

I received a couple more over the last few days, including your padded envelope, BraveSirRobin! I loved the way you organized the many, many stamps on the envelope! I also absolutely loved the contents!

@ 4everdevasted I had a similar experience - aren't we so blessed? Tonight my STBX has the kids for a few hours and my thought was "I'm going to check in with my people"! <3 I too failed at fulfilling my end of the situation - I share your guilt, and love for these people whom have extended so much grace and support.

I received two cards today that were a bit late (post office Soooo behind) but it gave me joy to receive these after the chaos - even better that not all showed up at once.. (one of them was Hedwig due to Euro delay possibly xo)

I've decided, all, as annoying as the cleanup is - I LOVE glitter, because it reminds me of YOU. You have made a stamp in my heart as "my people". Happy New Year, dears, may this year bring you new joys.

The padded envelope was the first one I received. Earlier than the rest. Having been my first experience with this - and timing - the details such as the multiple collection of joyful stamps, the nutcracker message - it all - and then followed by a flood, a few days later, <3

Ellie -different style than I, but you sure know how to put a "stamp on it" lol ... You are a spitfire and full of love for your people. <3

Aww I'm so glad you liked it! I was very amused planning it out and making them

I actually had to ask an etsy seller "approximately how many dicks are in a gram?"

how many dicks are in a gram

Ah...the proverbial "how much do you get in a dime bag" question, huh? (Not that I know what a dime bag is).

This is such a creative and fun bunch. I got 2 more cards today and just wanted to thank everyone who sent something. I went through the stack twice - once on Christmas Eve - the other on New Year's Eve. Was just what the doctor ordered. Big smiles both times.

I received: several ornaments (that will ALL go on my tree forever), a sheet of stickers, a bit of cash (hey hey!), some dick, and the best crop of glitter ever. Note: A couple of the "newbies" figured out the sparkle routine mighty fine I have to say.

Extra thanks to those of you who wrote in the cards - I know doing that took a lot of extra time, but it made me feel like you were right in the room with me. Such good shit.

I'll probably have to read them at least once more before I tuck them away. Plus, Santa always makes notes for next year's exchange.

And WOES/HT - one final kudos - that was a huge job. But hey - at least you done got Super Elfed out of it.

Chili beat me to the question of the day. And I agree with Chili about all the fun and special things the cards brought. Had a few hard things happen that they helped to soften.

I really enjoyed opening all your Christmas greetings. The top of Ellie's ornament was broken off. Hope the glue holds. My other ornaments went on the tree but not for long since I opened my cards so late. Next year they will grace it from the day it goes up. Thanks all!

I didn't get any dicks , I feel so left out.

I know a handful of peeps "flaked", it's totally cool and absolutely understandable. It does leave me asking how many we should have received though. I think I got about 25 or so. Do you think there's more coming?

I waited until New Years eve to open my cards, they were the bright spot in my 2020 I so desperately needed. I lost both my dogs in 2020, the first in August and the second on Dec.30th. Needless to say, I needed the pick me up.

Of the 51 people that signed up, 29 people sent cards in. That means you should receive a total of 28. There were some stragglers. I am sorry that you all are getting cards after Christmas.

If you keep asking people to give you the benefit of the doubt, they will eventually start to doubt your benefit.

Apparently 2 of my stragglers were delivered next door, accidentally. My neighbor (he's a jerk) "accidentally" opened them, claims he didn't look at the name on it. (Really? You live with your parents - you feel entitled to just open their mail?)

One of them had a ton of super-fine gold glitter. Given the way the envelope had been ripped open... well, I think he probably now has regrets after his mother got done laying into him about the mess!
