My book club is reading it and I don't know if I can handle my image of Atticus Finch messed with. Argh! Who's read it?

I haven't read it yet, but I'm disturbed about rumours that Atticus has turned a bit racist in his older age.

Just bought it today at Costco. Update to follow. I am very intrigued by all the controversy about this book. And I re-read "To Kill a Mockingbird" just last year when my son was reading it for school, so my memory is fairly fresh.

To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my all time favorite books, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting through Go Set a Watchman. It has a whole different flow and it's not really holding my interest.

So far, I'm disappointed.

I read it when it came out. I got through half of it before I had to put it down. I was disappointed and it kind of feels like two different authors wrote it. The flow, the feel of it is really off.

Thanks guys. I will make a point of NOT reading it. After all, why mess with something that is already perfect?
