Again messaging another woman… fishing? Cheating?

I found messages from my partner to another woman. He does a lot of interstate work they met on a plane. He initiated contact on Instagram saying pleasure to meet her. She responded. She lives at the other end of our country. Comments like we will have to catch up and it was a shame he wasn’t there. She was liking his posts. I’ve confronted him and he swears it didn’t go further that he didn’t mention me and he was just flattered by the attention.
I’m just devastated. He has immediately deleted her and swears he won’t
Lock his phone and it won’t happen again and we can work through it. I’ve sent her a message she must know he has a partner as his profile
Pic had me in it. She hasn’t seen or responded. Not sure how to act. He feels it wasn’t cheating as it didn’t go further and he says they wouldn’t have met

Hate to bother anyone I’m not sure if this is cheating

Good morning
I found this site when my ex cheated on me in 2009 and it was a godsend.
I’ve repartnered and he was cheated on so I have always been so confident he would never cheat on me. We’ve been together nearly 6 years.
I heard his phone beep and was going to answer for him and saw a message in WhatsApp
I could see it was like spam in that it started going on hi Brad and he answer he isn’t Brad
Then it started to talk and ask questions and say it was a woman and she lives in China
The thing is my man said his real name, that he’s 45 (hes nearly 48) told her what he actually does for a living. She asked for a pic and he sent a real pic and then said she was stunning on her pic(if it’s her she nearly 20 years younger)
She asked if he was married he said divorced 5 years yes but partnered to me! She asked if they could move to a private account and he asked if she had Snapchat.
Now when I confronted him he said he’s not cheating as he knew it was a scam and she was from China
Without me prompting this and he was just playing along
My head is all over the place what are your opinions. For now I’ve let it drop as he said it was a scam and he was trying to see if she would ask for money.

Changing I message to iPad will it be noticed

Hi I managed to get WH iCloud email and changed the pin... I tried to do it on my phone he says the A is over and I immediately got a message from the OW saying you are the best Baby.

Only trouble was he got an alert his account was compromised also when I called him it was coming up as him and 2 other devices. So I said I was trying to download songs and quickly logged out.

But I've now logged on via the iPad. Will he notice or know? Please please help this is my only way to get proof!

Last time I found out my husband was cheating I accessed his email through a shared email. This time his private email

That I know about is linked to his phone number. I have no way to access it right?
