A1c numbers

Just had two sets of blood tests done, one from my primary, and one from my endocrinologist.

The tests were done just a few days apart.

The first test from my primary showed my A1c at 6.

Several days later test from my endo showed 6.2

Wonder why such a difference in just a matter of days?

I've been in the pre-diabetes range for about 3 years now, not much change, 5.8 - 6.0, but this 6.2 scared me a bit.

How do I find a great divorce attorney for my son?

My son is living in hell right now with his wife of less than a year. She has severe mental health issues and he's tired of being emotionally abused.

He has an almost one year old with her, and we need to do everything we can to protect my granddaughter. I'm afraid his wife is going to pack her up along with her other two children and leave the state. Ugh.

The problem is he is living in another state, has been mostly working from home except when he travels about once a month. He is new to the area.

He asked me and his dad for help bc he doesn't want his wife to hear him making phone calls or trying to track his messages or his whereabouts.

What a mess.

I've done some googling, found ONE with several great reviews, but thought I'd post here in case there is a better approach.

Formula Shortages

...are hitting home.

My son lives in FL. They could not find my first grandchild's formula. Anywhere. They ended up having to switch formulas, and there was only one canister available.

I live in NJ and WH is currently living/working in TX. Both of us visited 8 stores each today, he was able to secure one canister of baby formula, I found two at the last CVS I visited. The cashier was kind enough to give me two after I explained what I had been doing the past several hours.

Anyone else having issues? The shelves in all of the stores both of us visited were literally empty.

Local news interviewing parents who are having similar issues, some traveling up to two hours just to get formula.

Now off to mail them so my granddaughter can eat.

Second booster?

Anyone here get a second booster or thinking about it?

I'm so torn, received my booster in October. 65 years old with mild asthma, honestly don't know what to do.

Do I get the second booster now? Do I wait until the Fall when there's a vaccine that targets Omnicron specifically? How long will my first booster be relatively effective?

All of my shots were Pfizer.
