Any other SI fossils like me here?
I had stopped in up in OT to lend some support and a few had noticed I had popped on from a long absence and asked how I was. Not the treadjack that thread and since this is where I used to post the most in my years, it seemed like a great place to post an update.
In the many moons since I disappeared I am have been doing great. My kids are about out of the house and on their way to college. The last couple years has been very enjoyable to be with them. We've gone on a couple trips to catch some National Parks and just got back from DC. Last August we took in the solar eclipse In Totality together. It was an amazing thing to experience with them.
For those that remember me know that I danced and I've kept with in. Occasionally I will compete but usually I just go social dancing. I even teach a little from time to time.
That's it for me, I hope everyone here has been doing well too.

Doing my part

For what it's worth, I am MovingUpward and have been known as Moo since about 2008. I am a travelholic having attended many many many SI get togethers over the years. I have met most of the staff and can make up fictitious but very credible but funny stories about them (J/K DS 
).
Lately I have been rendered silent by the expanding global economy and my employers belief that we are underworked, but I have escaped today to reach out to all that are new to join me in having a laugh or just wanting to join in without feeling awkward. So let's see how many dare to read this.

Once Upon a Time . . .
I thought that it might be fun for folks to remember some of the fun memories/stories/threads they have come across in F&G. What are your favorites.
One of mine was the online party to ring in 2008. It started at 6pm and before 11pm we had hit the 1000 post limit and had to start a new thread. People posted pictures of food and drinks and images of how they were dressed or wishing they were dressed. There was champagne and fireworks at midnight. It was fun to celebrate that with my online community.

SoCal G2G Nov 22
It has been WAAAAAYYYYYYYY too long since there was a G2G in the southern half of Cali. So I know the date is almost Thanksgiving, but this is when I am stopping in on my return from a business trip. It should be a magical weekend as I actually am leaving for LA after I will arrive in LA. International Dateline is a funny thing. So check your calendars and we can plan for something that day. I will so be in the mood for American food that I could eat anywhere. So who is in?
